London serviced apartment costs by area

Mayfair has recorded guide prices for 7 of 36 residences. In that limited sample, starting rates run from £330 a night, with a median of £370. Kensington’s median is £250 and Chelsea’s £245. These are mixed apartment categories, not a market-wide average or a current quotation.

Each residence contributes one starting price where we have one. A studio and a larger apartment can therefore sit in the same sample. A building may appear in more than one neighbourhood collection. Unpriced residences stay in the residence count but do not enter the median. We leave the median blank where fewer than three prices are recorded.

Most Mayfair residences in this collection have no recorded guide rate. The table covers only residences with a published guide price. Request quotes for the others.

A nightly price turned into a monthly budget

At £250 a night, 28 nights cost £7,000 and 30 nights £7,500. At £370, the equivalents are £10,360 and £11,100. These budget examples use the catalogue medians. The quote for your chosen apartment may differ.

For a stay of several months, request a price for the full period. Put the tax-inclusive accommodation total, cleaning, utilities and any required extra beds on one line. Record a refundable deposit separately: it affects cash needed before arrival but is not automatically a cost of the stay.

Hill Street has a three-month minimum. Darley House uses 90 nights. They are not identical periods: 1 March to 1 June 2027 is 92 nights, while a 90-night booking starting on 1 March ends on 30 May. Amberley takes enquiries from six months. Cheval Calico House normally requires three months, with occasional shorter openings.

What changes the bill

Bedroom count, an extra bathroom, a terrace and the exact dates can change the price substantially. So can the service package. Daily cleaning is a different purchase from a weekly clean; a hotel-managed residence with a pool is a different purchase from a furnished flat with remote support.

For colleagues, price the entire apartment for the named occupants. For a family, include children’s ages and the bed arrangement. A two-bedroom flat with one double and one twin room may solve a different problem from two double bedrooms, even when the headline prices match.

Send the team your arrival and departure dates, preferred areas, bedroom count and total budget. Use the stay planner to keep the quotations together, or browse long-stay apartments first.
